Economist, Michael Feroli, attributes this to a growing number of workers who are unable or unwilling to rejoin the workforce.<\/p>\n<p>Many workers say they cannot continue doing the work they once did, but lack educational resources to learn a new trade.<\/p>\n<p>This problem is only being compounded by a lack of new employees entering the workforce. In March, the number of individuals joining the workforce was only up by 0.2 percent compared to the same time a year earlier.
